Public awareness campaign for all of Aotearoa
Our public awareness campaign highlights a range of ACC services across prevention, care and recovery.
Providing lifelong support
The campaign is designed for all people in Aotearoa, to increase awareness and understanding of ACC services across prevention, care and recovery. Six video stories highlight the diverse range of our services available for a diverse Aotearoa.
Why we’re doing it
It’s important that everyone in Aotearoa knows about ACC and the services we provide across prevention, care and recovery. It’s also important that people understand that ACC is there to provide support for everyone across the motu.
If we can increase awareness of our services and the type of support we have available, it means people can get the help they need, when they need it. Whether that be joining an injury prevention programme like Ride Forever, or getting help after an injury.
The approach
The campaign is a series of six video stories across prevention, care and recovery. It was developed using research insights and through testing with groups from around the motu.
The 15 second stories show the range of support we offer, including our role in:
- The Live Stronger for Longer strength and balance programme
- Returning to independence after an injury
- The Ride Forever motorcycle skills programme
- Access to rongoā Māori healing
- Rehabilitation and returning to sport after an injury
- Life-long support for injured people
The campaign
The campaign launched in mid November 2022 and since that time has been in and out of market in a series of media flights on television, digital billboards, video on demand and social.
