Cover your income
If you are unable to work some or all of your job for at least a week, we could help cover your income. Apply for weekly compensation.
Get injury support
Apply for other support available to help your recovery including travel for treatment, prescription costs, equipment for everyday tasks and more.
Find your ACC claim number
You’ll find your claim number in the text message or letter from us confirming your claim is approved.
If you need treatment for your injury, give this number to your treatment provider. We’ll automatically pay part of the appointment costs and you’ll need to pay the rest.
Treatment we could help pay for
Use MyACC to request support
You might have received a MyACC registration code by text or email. MyACC enables you to request support online like weekly compensation, equipment to help at home, travel payment and more. MyACC is available online, anytime, using your mobile phone, tablet, or computer.
Talk to your employer about your injury
If you need time off work, let your employer know. We may notify them directly so they understand how they can support you. During the first week after injury your employer will need to pay you 80% of your regular income if your injury happened at work. If it happened outside of work, you may need to use sick leave or annual leave to cover this time off. After the first week you become eligible for weekly compensation to cover your income. You can apply for this using MyACC or by contacting us directly.
