Transcript

Samantha Sinclair – “I was unfortunately hit knocked to the ground and hit my head on the ground and got concussion, and it was only really minor concussion so I followed the back to playing protocol which was only a week thankfully for me. But yeah it's a little bit scary because it's not something you can necessarily see and it's not an injury that other people can go oh, she's definitely injured, that's why she's sitting out of practice.”

Samantha Sinclair – “So as a person with concussion, it's really frustrating when you just want to be out there because physically you feel fine. But in your head you might be suffering from some headaches or a slight dizziness or something that other people can't see. And that's important because the brain is so important.”

Samantha Sinclair – “As soon as I hit the ground I came off the court and had ice and stuff on my head as well and we returned back to because we were in camp at the time so I returned back to the training camp at the hotel and did a concussion test back there, so I had already done the preliminary tests, so I already had a base score and which unfortunately I didn't quite meet and hence the reason they diagnosed me with slight concussion”
