Now accepting registrations of interest for Sexual Abuse Assessment and Treatment Services contract

Released 28/03/2025

We’re looking for applicants who are interested in providing Sexual Abuse Assessment and Treatment Services (SAATS) for clients of suspected, alleged or actual sexual abuse or assault on behalf of ACC, the NZ Police and Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora. This is a collaborative and inclusive approach to funding which allows for an integrated service delivery for communities.

The Registration of Interest (ROI) is an invitation for applicants to express their interest to apply to deliver the SAATS contract. The SAATS contract will begin on 1 July 2025 and go through to 30 June 2026. The ROI is the first step in a multi-step procurement process. After evaluation, applicants who are shortlisted will be notified of next steps.

SAATS provides medical, psychological, developmental and forensic services for people who have experienced sexual abuse or assault. These services form part of a wider service offering that address (in collaboration with other interventions where applicable) the acute and non-acute medical, psychological, and forensic (where indicated) requirements of the client in a developmentally appropriate way.

The ROI is available on the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) and closes at 5.00pm, 17 April 2025.
