New transition guide and FAQs for the Sensitive Claims Service
As we prepare for the launch of the new Sensitive Claims Service on 1 December, existing ISSC suppliers and providers will need to consider how you can best support kiritaki (clients) through the transition to the new contract. To help you determine the steps you need to take to ensure continuity of care for kiritaki, we’ve developed a new transition guide.
This interactive tool offers steps you can take to support kiritaki, depending on your specific scenario, to ensure they can continue to receive the treatment and services they need as we move to the new contract.
The Sensitive Claims Service transition guide is available on our website:
Supporting existing kiritaki (clients) through the transition (acc.co.nz).
While this guide covers the most common scenarios, there may be some that are not covered. If, after using the guide, providers need additional guidance, they must consult with their supplier.
If suppliers or providers need further support determining a transition pathway for kiritaki:
- see our Frequently Asked Questions about transition, or
- contact us at ISSCevolution@acc.co.nz. Queries about transition must come through this avenue rather than directly to our Recovery Team members.
