New research into our Rongoā Māori Service

In 2024, we commissioned researchers Te Paetawhiti & Associates to explore the outcomes achieved by kiritaki (clients) through our Rongoā Māori Service.
Their research report, Traditional healing | Rongoā Māori Outcomes: The voices of kiritaki, has now been published on our website.
The report shows rongoā Māori to be ‘an appropriate and relevant healing system for all New Zealanders’. Māori and non-Māori spoke of improved physical, emotional and mental wellbeing outcomes achieved through rongoā Māori.
