New ACC45 claim numbers from the end of January

We’re reaching the end of our pool of available ACC45 claim numbers, and expect to start using our new number format in the coming weeks. The existing ACC45 number format will continue to be accepted.

We’re reaching the end of our pool of available ACC45 claim numbers, and now expect to start using our new number format in the coming weeks.
Currently, our ACC45 numbers are two letters followed by five numbers, for example, AB12345.

Our future numbers will be in two new formats:

•    Five numbers followed by two letters - 12345AB 
•    Four numbers followed by three letters - 1234ABC

Paper ACC45 claim forms will exclusively use the new number format (12345AB), while electronic forms can use all three formats.

This change will create roughly 174 million new numbers. These changes are the next step in the continual expansion of our digital offerings.

The existing ACC45 number format will continue to be accepted.
