Improving service delivery and capacity constraints in the ISSC
We’re exploring how we can continue to improve the delivery of services and capacity constraints under the Integrated Services for Sensitive Claims (ISSC).
As part of this work, our Performance Monitoring Advisors have been working with suppliers to collect data, identify trends and improve our understanding of how services are being delivered.
We’ve gained valuable insights and have identified some improvements that could be made with:
- how ISSC reports are completed and invoiced,
- how suppliers manage provider workloads,
- use of DNAs, and
- how provider travel is managed.
Over the next few months, we will share more insights as well as tips to help suppliers make improvements in these areas and have greater oversight of how providers on their contract are delivering services.
