Cost of Treatment Regulations open for consultation

The proposed changes to the Cost of Treatment Regulations are now open for consultation.
- The regulations are reviewed every two years to make sure:
- payment rates mean that treatment is affordable for injured New Zealanders
- costs to ACC are affordable, sustainable, and consistent
- payments are not too dissimilar across the health and ACC systems.
The consultation is led by the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment (MBIE). Submissions will help inform MBIE’s advice to the Minister for ACC on adopting the proposed updates.
