Return to Independence

Home and Community Support - Return to Independence (HCSRTI) is a service that aims to support kiritaki following a low to medium complex injury. The goal of this service is to support kiritaki (clients) return to independence.

    Purpose

    The service is provided fully under support packages where the type of support and hours are determined by an assessment completed by the home and community supplier to determine the injury related need.  Under the support packages kiritaki (clients) can receive the following type of support:

    • personal care
    • home care
    • childcare
    • rehabilitation (Allied Health)
    • low complex nursing care
