Tender for new Sensitive Claims Service now open
We’re excited to announce that the tender for the new Sensitive Claims Service (formerly called the Integrated Services for Sensitive Claims - ISSC) is now open on GETS, the government electronic tender service.
The new contract comes after more than two years of extensive consultation with providers, suppliers, survivors, and the broader sexual violence sector to improve how we provide support to survivors of sexual violence.
Who should apply for the new contract?
- Any supplier wanting to provide services under the new Sensitive Claims Service will need to tender for this new contract, even if you’re already an existing supplier.
- All named service providers, whether new or existing, will need to apply and be approved by us to deliver services to our kiritaki (clients). This applies to all professions considered as named service providers: counsellor, psychotherapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or a social worker planning on delivering counselling services under the contract. Named service providers will also need to be named on a supplier’s contract prior to delivering services.
Please note that under the new Sensitive Claims Service, if you’re a registered nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, dietitian, speech language therapist, or a social worker, you may also be able to deliver services to our kiritaki. However, you do NOT need to complete the named service provider application form, but you will need to register with us to obtain a provider ID. If you already have an ACC Provider ID, you do not need to reapply.
There is a lot more information that can be found on our tender notice: GETS | Accident Compensation Corporation - Sensitive Claims Service 2024 - Request for Application
We know that there will be questions about the tender and the Service Schedule. Please subscribe to the GETS notice and use the question function on GETS to submit your questions. This allows all questions and our responses to be viewed by all subscribers.
