Reporting requirements for SAATS due soon
We want to remind contract holders of the Sexual Assault Assessment and Treatment Service (SAATS) that quarterly reporting requirements are due soon.
SAATS is a tripartite funded service between ACC, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, and New Zealand Police (SAATS funders). ACC administers the contract and is contracted with primarily District Health Boards to make a 24/7 service available. This service can deliver forensic and medical assessment of injury related to sexual abuse, assault and referral to treatment services.
Here are the reporting periods and due dates of the quarterly report:
Period start date | Period end date | Reporting due by |
01 July | 30 September | 20 October |
01 October | 31 December | 20 January |
01 January | 30 March | 20 April |
01 April | 30 June | 20 July |
This information helps the SAATS funders understand the number of consultations provided, who is accessing services, and where.
Reporting data can be downloaded via the MEDSAC SAATS database or presented to us using the SAATS quarterly reporting template.
