Care Indicator Process update – looking after you and your team

Released 29/05/2024

From time to time, extra planning or safeguards are needed to ensure providers remain safe while supporting our clients.

We’ve made some changes to the way our referrals let you know when a client has a care indicator. This will ensure, when needed, you are aware of how we manage potential risks when we interact with the client, to inform your own health and safety planning.

What’s changing?

You’ll notice that some referral emails will include extra information about care indicators. When you receive a referral, if you need further information to ensure safe service delivery, please contact us.

Keeping your and your team safe

To strengthen the safety of you and your team members further this is a good time to have a refresher on your own processes around this. How do you identify any risks and what actions should you take?

Remember to report any incidents

We all have a role to play in protecting the health and safety of ourselves and others in the workplace. For contracted providers, please remember to report any incidents, threats, or notifiable events via our website. We will contact you as soon as possible if there’s something in your online form that needs our urgent attention or we need more information.
