ACC named as finalist in human resources awards

We’ve been named as a finalist in the NZ HR Awards, which recognise excellence in the human resources community, for our approach to hybrid working.
At ACC, we’re absolutely committed to being a diverse and inclusive organisation that represents the people of Aotearoa. And we want to support our people to do their best work in a way that works for them and the customers they care for and support.
Like many businesses across the motu, COVID-19 changed the way we think about work. We learned that taking a more flexible approach is better for our people, their wellbeing, their whanau and – ultimately – our customers.
We’re excited to be recognised as a finalist in this year’s NZ HR Awards’ Future of Work category for our hybrid working approach – which includes where we work, how we work and when we work.
This recognises our commitment to supporting our people to bring their whole selves to work.
“Hybrid working is about so much more than ‘where’ work happens,” says Michael Frampton, Deputy Chief Executive People and Culture.
“It’s about enabling new and different ways of working so we can bring to life an organisation that better reflects the customers and communities we serve,” he adds.
“Into the future, it’s an approach that offers huge promise for enabling us to deliver even better services for our customers and even better work for our people.”
The NZ HR Awards, which are organised by Human Resources New Zealand (HRNZ), recognise excellence and outstanding achievement within Aotearoa’s human resources community.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 9 March in Auckland.
