Amanda Malu has been appointed as our Deputy Chief Executive Service Delivery and will join ACC on 26 September.

The Service Delivery group within ACC is being established on 4 July and will provide critical customer-facing support services for people injured in an accident, working in close partnership with other parts of ACC to achieve positive outcomes for New Zealanders.

Amanda (Kāi Tahu) is currently the Chief Executive of Whānau Āwhina Plunket, the largest provider of support services to families with young children in Aotearoa.

Her passion for making a difference is evident in the leadership roles she has held, including at Whānau Āwhina Plunket and previously as an Associate Director on the Board of Ngāi Tahu Holdings, and at the Families Commission and Maritime Safety Authority.

“Amanda is committed to supporting and championing innovation in service design and delivery, and is passionate about equity and embedding a truly Te Tiriti approach, having delivered significant change to the service delivery model of Whānau Āwhina Plunket over the last six years."

"I know she’s excited to join us and to lead our work in supporting people injured in an accident,” ACC Chief Executive Megan Main says.
