ACC appoints Deputy Chief Executive Prevention & Partnerships
Tane Cassidy has been appointed as our Deputy Chief Executive Prevention & Partnerships and will join ACC on 25 July.
The Prevention & Partnerships group within ACC is being established on 4 July and will drive our injury prevention strategy and lead ACC’s partnerships with levy payers and across the health sector and business community.
Tane (Ngāpuhi) brings a wealth of experience across the health sector, most recently as Chief Executive at Te Hiringa Hauora – Health Promotion Agency.
He was part of the interim leadership group setting the transformational direction for the new National Public Health Service, is a member of the Ātiawa Toa Hauora Partnership Board, and previously worked in leadership roles at the Health Sponsorship Council and Ministry of Health.
“Tane has a strong commitment and passion for public health, equity, and Te Ao Māori, and a real interest in building genuine, enduring relationships and partnerships that help improve the quality of life for New Zealanders.
We’re looking forward to welcoming him to the ACC whānau,” ACC Chief Executive Megan Main says.
