ACC Board Chair resigns

Hon Steve Maharey CNZM has resigned from the Board of ACC.

Today ACC Board Chair Hon Steve Maharey offered his resignation to the new Minister for ACC, Hon Matt Doocey, which was accepted, effective immediately.

Steve joined the board as Chair in August 2021 and has made a significant contribution to the governance of ACC.

Dr Tracey Batten (currently Deputy Chair) will be acting Board Chair until a new Chair is appointed.
