Appointment of new Ministers for ACC

Hon Andrew Bayly has been appointed as the new Minister for ACC while Hon Nicola Grigg will be the Associate Minister for ACC.
Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has confirmed that Hon Andrew Bayly has been appointed as the new Minister for ACC while Hon Nicola Grigg will be the Associate Minister for ACC.
Both appointments will be effective from Friday 24 January.
Hon Andrew Bayly is currently the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Minister for Small Business and Manufacturing, and Minister of Statistics.
He is the MP for Port Waikato and was first elected to Parliament in 2014 to represent the then-seat of Hunua.
In addition to taking on the ACC portfolio, he will retain the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs portfolio.
Hon Nicola Grigg is the Minister of State for Trade, Minister for Women, and Associate Minister of Agriculture (Horticulture) – portfolios she will retain alongside the ACC portfolio.
She has been the MP for Selwyn since 2020.
